It’s not a review I ever hoped I would have to write, but during an incredibly distressing and difficult time for our family, the care we received from Allison Monkhouse was something we will always be grateful for. From the very beginning, we felt genuinely held, cared for and supported through every step of the process. Siobhan, Jared and the entire team guided us with such kindness, compassion and sensitivity, making an overwhelming time feel that little bit easier to navigate. Everything was handled so seamlessly and with such thoughtfulness. We never felt as though we had to worry about what came next — we felt completely supported and knew we were in very caring and capable hands. Our heartfelt thanks to Siobhan, Jared and everyone at Allison Monkhouse for the compassion, dignity and care you showed our family at a time when we needed it most. We will never forget it.

Thank you Iain and all from Allison Monkhouse for the beautiful farewell of my beloved dad Frank. Your care, support and guidance through such a sad time was amazing. Thank you too for your recommendation of Bill as our celebrant. On the toughest of days it was a joy to hear my dad’s story told so beautifully, with meaning and humour. He would have loved it.

When my father passed away recently, I chose Allison Monkhouse Funerals because they had assisted with my mother’s funeral 22 years ago. Best decision I could have made. Iain guided my sons and I through the process and the service today ran seamlessly and was absolutely perfect. The media team did a wonderful job highlighting my father’s life via the slideshow, bookmark memento and remembrance book. Iain also recommended a celebrant for us. Alison was professional as well as being sympathetic and in tune with our feelings. So thank you Iain for helping to make my father’s send off such a memorable one for us all. He would have loved it.

We said goodbye to our Mum today and it was a fantastic send off for an amazing lady. Iain Pullum was incredible throughout this whole process. Kind, attentive, empathetic, with wonderful communication. He and the team at Wantirna did everything to make the whole process and service go without any problem as at all. Smooth sailing the whole way. Iain, you made everything so much easier for me and my family and will always be incredibly grateful.

I really want to thank you Siobhan and the team, who I've worked closely with on two funerals of loved ones I hold very closely to my heart. As of recent, Siobhan and the team handled the transition from another funeral company flawlessly and effortlessly. Siobhan handled the whole process with a lot of care and with a high attention to detail, she knows when to lead and when to support. We had many small requests and traditional customs which Siobhan and team were able to ensure were respected and handled with care. Thank you again for helping us get through what has truly been an incredible difficult and devastating time.

I can't thank Iain and the team enough for helping us put on a lovely farewell for our Mum. From the first call to picking up the ashes, everything was done with care and kindness. Iain was very reassuring and had a gentle caring manner that made planning the funeral easier than expected.
